Giza "cave complex" controversy
Not being an Egyptologist myself, I haven’t followed this debate, but the Archaeology section at Disovery Channel has it all worked out.
Here’s the first bit about the caves.
And the indomitable Zahi Hawass’ response. He says they’re not caves…just a bunch of rock-cut tombs that have already been well explored.
